Questions freelancers ask
Is the proposal generator free?
Yes. You connect your own AI key and pay your provider directly, if at all. Groq, Gemini and Mistral have free tiers that cover normal daily bidding, so most freelancers pay nothing.
Is my API key stored anywhere?
No. It's kept in this browser tab and disappears when you close it. Each time you write, it's sent over HTTPS to our server function, used for that one request to your AI provider, and then dropped. We don't save it or log it.
Does it log in to Upwork or send proposals for me?
No. It never touches your Upwork account and never visits Upwork. You paste the job post in, and you copy the proposal out and submit it yourself. That keeps you inside Upwork's rules on bots and automation.
Will clients know the proposal was written with AI?
A generic AI proposal is easy to spot. These drafts open with the client's own problem, quote only your real results and skip the usual filler, which is what makes them read like you. Read every draft and edit it in your own words before you send it.
Can I write in my own language?
Yes. Your notes and project descriptions can be in any language. The proposal comes out in English, and the Read it in your language button shows you what it says before you send it.
